Would like to get Some (any?) reception for short wave broadcasts and a little cw on my VX-8R handheld. Plan to use SMA to PL-259 adapter coax to an MFJ 16010 wire tuner, and a wire out the window. Anybody tried anything like this ... just wonder if it would work?
