Hey y'all first post..
I have a Yaesu VX-8 ht. I have it setup for APRS and I have the optional GPS attachment. I can see other nearby stations just fine, but I think I have a transmitting issue. I can't seem to send messages to any other person, nor can I receive them. I'm also having beacon issues, I have it setup for 3 minutes, but sometimes it takes 30 minutes or more to show up on aprs.fi. I've gone over the manuals and looked online. I can't seem to find any settings that will help. Maybe my ht is just too weak here in SoCal.
