This Yaesu FT 991 was left to me by my Uncle who passed away. I'm not an amateur at the moment, but will be taking exams for 2 Meters.
I have installed a dipole just to scan frequencies. Also I use CB Radio and would just use 10meters to transmit. Ive setup the Radio using the menu.
I used utube to help me. The trouble I have is the Radio is not transmitting. When I key up, I can see a red light flashing above the A=B.
I haven't key up since I saw this light. Hope I'm making sense, as I need to start somewhere. Any advice please. Have sent several emails to yaesu but not one reply back
