I am VERY new to FM transceivers and virtually know nothing them at this point outside of how to turn it on and navigate some of the basic menus. I am trying to enter a few TX/RX frequencies that we use at work but it does not seem to be working the way the owners manual says. According to the manual, I should be able to direct enter the frequencies which have been given to me as
422R550
427T550
TPL 85.4
Now I am not 100% sure how to interpret those frequencies however I am assuming that the R in the middle is for receive and the T stands for transmit. When I turn the radio on and try to enter 42250 on the keypad, it just keeps going to a pre-programmed entry when I hit the 4th digit being the first 5 of the 422550 string. I am REALLY confused and would VERY much appreciate any assistance you are willing to give.
